Jim Mudgett
Owner
Jim is Shane and Jimmy’s father, he also has a daughter named Samantha who works in the accounting department. Jim, and his wife Kathy, spend a lot of time at their house in Ocean City. He is an avid archery hunter and has been on hunts all around the U.S. and in Canada. Jim thinks about Maryland Collision Center 24/7. He loves this industry and is thankful for the opportunity to work with his family.
Shane Mudgett
Owner
Shane is part owner of Maryland Collision Center, Jimmy’s younger brother and the son of Jim. Shane started working in the collision repair business in 2007 after graduating from Century High School. He also attended the Carroll County Career and Technology Center where he received his ASE certification. He began with the detail team then progressed to a technician’s helper, about a year after that he was a tech on his own before moving into the office. He started as the parts manager and moved into the main office to learn how to estimate and manage a store. His favorite hobby is hunting, he loves to hunt whitetail deer on the family farm out in Carroll County. Shane is a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Capitals. He is very excited about Maryland Collision Center and the future growth of his business.
Jimmy Mudgett
Owner
Jimmy is Shane’s older brother and Jim’s oldest son, he joined the collision industry in 2011. Jimmy graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2009 with a degree in Business – Marketing & Management, played baseball at the Mount and was a captain on the baseball team in his Junior and Senior years. Jimmy loves to race in triathlons and has even completed the Ironman! His two favorite sports teams are the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens. He is very passionate and upbeat and loves Maryland Collision Center and has dreams of growing the business!
Tommy Keeney
Regional Manager
Tommy is a graduate of the 2004 class at Westminster High School. He worked in the automotive field since a child at his father’s auto repair business in Westminster. After graduating and working at a local mechanical shop for 2 years he joined the Maryland Collision Center crew in 2006. Since then, Tommy has learned the Collision Repair process and started opening/setting up new MDCC’s in 2013. He oversees multiple locations and helps with the day-to-day operations at each shop in coordination with the store managers. Tommy is a dedicated employee and customer service oriented, he loves sports and cheering on the Orioles and Ravens. He is excited for growth and continues to help open and oversee more locations.
Brad Groft
Regional Manager
Brad emphasizes the importance of customer satisfaction, quality craftsmanship, and a strong work ethic. Detail-oriented and focused on excellence, Brad believes that clear communication and a positive work environment are essential to delivering top-tier results. He takes pride in leading teams that not only restore vehicles to their best condition but also ensure every customer leaves happy and confident in their experience. A Carroll County native, Brad graduated from Loyola College (now Loyola University Maryland) in 2008. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, and spending time in the kitchen, whether it’s smoking meats, grilling on his Blackstone, or perfecting recipes in his pizza oven. Brad values time with his wife, Ashley, their daughter, Peyton, and their dog, Polly.
